Equip Church International is looking for someone from within our church family to
join the team as a Receptionist / Admin Support.
This role is a key part of ensuring
that our office runs smoothly and that members and visitors experience a warm,
professional first point of contact with Equip Church. Additionally, this role provides
comprehensive administrative and organisational support for her International
Groups and Discipleship ministries. The role requires excellent communication,
multi-tasking, and organisational skills to effectively manage front-desk operations
while supporting ministry initiatives.
This position is part-time (2–3 days per week, preferably Tuesday–Thursday,
9am–5pm) and is a 1-year fixed contract with the possibility of extension. Start
date is Mid November 2025
What the Role Involves
- Welcoming and assisting visitors.
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Receiving payments, tithes, and offerings.
- Ordering and organising office, pantry, cleaning, and first aid supplies.
- Supporting the Office Manager with printing, deliveries, and administration.
- Sending the weekly “newsletter” email to staff.
- Assisting with staff events and team activities.
- Helping ensure the office is safe, organised, and well-presented.
- Handling Discipleship related Online forms from Elvanto and enquiries.
- Organising and sending information about upcoming events (Baptism, Child
- Dedication and Meet the pastors) and confirmation of attendance.
- Action online international services connect forms, manage international box,
update Groups lists regularly.

- Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Confident in using computers (Microsoft Office and email).
- Willing to serve and support both our pastors and our wider church family.
Requirements
As this role involves representing the church and handling sensitive information, the
successful applicant will need:
- A current Working With Children Check.
- A National Police Check.
- Completion (or willingness to complete) the ACC Safer Churches Training.
- Proof of working rights in Australia.
- Two referees (1 from church and 1 from work/school/organisation).
